Cannot Access Account?
If you’ve lost your password there’s the usual password reminder at login. If you don’t get the email check your spam and/or try the feature again.
However if you are not already a member of the Dooster account and cannot access the account administrator / owners email – for example if an employee has left your company and they “owned” the account under their personal email – then it’s a problem. Why? Please see below.
First: Check if other people have “Owner” or “Co-Owner” status in the account. If so they can add you to the Dooster account and make you a Co-Owner aswell – ie a defacto owner.
If that’s not possible then consider whether you need actual access to the account or simply to want cancel your ongoing payments? If so you don’t need to access the account.
Please see dooster.net/wp/payments-billing/cancelling-card-payments/
If you want to see whether you would like to continue using Dooster for your work you can sign up for a free trial account at dooster.net. (It will take a few minutes at most to see how it works).
Why it’s a problem
If you do indeed need us to give you access to the existing account you will need to prove you are entitled to such access. Why? Well look at it this way: You are a person or company called X. You are asking to access a different account Y.
Suppose someone from a company Y approached us asking to access your account X… Would you like us to give them access? We hope that helps explain the issue.
The proof required will vary depending on your territory / jurisdiction. Should you be able to provide it please note that giving you access to the old account will require developer time which we charge for. (As part of our security our developers cannot easily access Dooster client accounts. It involves a data protection protocol and coding which takes time and effort).
