Once you have created a Dooster account you cannot change the account name.

For example; you cannot create an account john.dooster.net and then change that to sam.doooster.net

If you have already put info on an account and want to work, instead, on an account with a different name, a workaround is to (1) Create the new account then (2) simply “share” the project(s) – ie you have already put the info – with the old account.
