Nesting Tasks

We don’t offer this feature directly but here’s a neat workaround.

Decide on a “head task” and make the other associated ones “dependent children” to it. This takes seconds and brings all the tasks “nested” into one place. (See task dependencies ).

Note: Dependent tasks have to be in the same project. To quickly bring tasks from different projects into the same project you can use the tags feature to find associated tasks. Then use the multi select tool at the top of the list to move all the tasks into the same project with one click.

You can also use search to collate disparate tasks. And ticket numbers – for example, search for related words then copy the ticket number permalink (read here) to the task into the “head” / parent task.
